Please be aware that Hopewell in-person services and activities have been suspended for the immediate future. We will continue to record and post the service and will continue to broadcast at 11:00 AM for those wishing to come to the church. The committee is monitoring this situation closely and will advise as soon as the condition improves.
The message from the HUMC Health & Safety committee chair is below and all committee members agreed to discontinue services:
A short while ago we checked the Department of Public Health website and found that Baldwin County is now RED with a positivity rate of 10.4%. We (the committee) discussed and decided that when the county turned RED we would discontinue in person services and return to taping the service and putting it online. I strongly suggest we move in that direction immediately. I also suggest that any other functions scheduled for the church be cancelled until further notice.
